My husband says this song is the song he thought of when he left Iraq after being wounded there fighting for this country. He said it was how he felt, that he was going home to me where he belonged after doing his duty and serving his country. To all the soldiers out there, My husband and I both pray that you go home as well to your loved ones safe and sound. God bless all the soldiers and their families!!

In his interveiw it’s about someone who lost almost everything and is building it back up with past experiances. He lost his identity and is going back but keeps falling behind. He’s singing about someone he’s chasing too.
